About twenty minutes north of the center of Ubud, in the green hills of Tegallalang, a unique new villa resort is currently under development. The project is being developed by a Dutch property developer who has previously realized several comparable developments in other parts of the world. This will be their first project in Bali.
The developer has access to approximately 40 hectares of land. However, only around 10 hectares will be used for the construction of the resort. The intention is to preserve as much of the surrounding landscape as possible and maintain the natural character of the area. Whenever possible, materials and labor from the local community are used during the construction process.

The architecture is largely inspired by traditional Indonesian design with subtle modern influences. Natural materials such as bamboo, alang-alang roofing and teak wood are used extensively to create an authentic atmosphere that fits the natural surroundings.
In addition to the villas, the resort will offer a variety of facilities. A central area will include swimming pools, restaurants, co-working spaces, a fitness area and a yoga pavilion. In a lower part of the property, surrounded by jungle, a spa and massage area will be developed. The project will also include glamping accommodation, a section with senior residences and space where retreats and wellness programs can be organized.
The Tegallalang area is well known for its beautiful rice terraces and lush landscapes. The scenery surrounding the project is equally impressive. From the resort you will enjoy views over rice fields, tropical jungle and the mountains of Bali, including Mount Agung. Two relatively unknown waterfalls are located approximately fifteen minutes walking distance from the resort.
Owners may live in their villa permanently if they wish. However, most buyers will likely use the villa as a holiday home when visiting Bali. During the rest of the year the resort management can handle the rental and full management of the property.
