One dish I really love is Lawar, which many tourists don’t try. It’s a mix of finely chopped vegetables, grated coconut, herbs and spices, sometimes combined with minced meat. The flavors are very rich and very Balinese.

I really enjoy fresh seafood, especially grilled fish and prawns. We also like trying different international restaurants within the resorts — there’s a great variety.

I enjoy ayam bakar and nasi campur, but the kids love simple things like mie goreng or grilled corn from the beach vendors. My wife is a fan of the fresh fruit and salads.

I like simple local dishes—nasi campur or mie goreng—but I also enjoy sandwiches or bowls from cafés.

I love vegetarian nasi goreng and gado-gado. Sometimes I try new things in the small warungs, and I am always happy because the flavours are so natural and fresh.

I love eating mie goreng or fresh grilled fish at small local places. Simple meals after a long surf session always taste the best.

My favorite dish is a simple one: nasi campur from a small local warung. I love the home-cooked flavors and the variety of side dishes you get. Eating in these little places always feels more authentic.

My favorite dish would be Soto Ayam, mostly because of nostalgia from my upbringing by my Indonesian mother, but the taste and spices blend good as well

I like to sit down in a local warung and order a nasi campur. This is one of my favorite dishes as it gives a little taste of everything — rice with a mix of vegetables, meats, and spicy sambal. Each warung has its own version, so it’s always a bit of a surprise and a great way to experience local flavors.
